The Flight of The Black Rose
Carline Sendin
circa 2005
Thy parch’d lips
I shall kiss not
For my soul hath no worth in thy hardhearted cot
Thy tear-laden luminous orbs shall have a sight of me ne’er
Mourn and weep all the will; I shall not glance and shed a tear e’er
To thy sullen embrace never will I find
What my prince hath to offer
I beckon thee to set thy heart free from the moroseness in which thyself binds
Love, lust, tragedy, and remorse – all we hath espoused shall now be o’er
Now’s the time of
farewell indeed
To thy disillusioned memory “Au Revoir” I bid
To and fro I have learned to love thee once, and in many moments I loathed thee
Alas and Behold! In this final dusk I am bound to set my heart free
...i'll
be uploading all my writings here from now on since this is now my official
blog..i should manage to post everything i've created since the papers where i
wrote them eventually get misplaced most of the time...
